Welcome to SSC Security Matters - October 2008
The e-Newsletter that delves deeper into Corporate Intelligence, Security, and Investigations issues.
In challenging economic times there are definite linkages between causes and outcomes. A faltering economy threatens an increase in crime, illegal immigration and extremism. Amit Gavish, Managing Director of our Corporate Intelligence & Investigation division, states "corporate fraud is not only prevalent, but increasing" and he expects to see this increase advance as our economy becomes more difficult for businesses. It is at these times that businesses need a security partner like SSC. SSC assists its customers by approaching security as it would any other business decision: costs versus benefits.
SSC partners with its customers to provide a broad range of investigative, intelligence, security and technology services to help mitigate risks, deal with known security issues and improve their business opportunities. In this issue of Security Matters you'll benefit from reading about computer forensics and business risks associated with employee telecommuting.
